Thai Airways International has 2 daily flights connecting Bangkok with Surat Thani. The flight time is approximately 70 minutes. Two Low cost carriers also have Suratthani on their routes: Air Asia has two flights per day, as does One-Two-Go.  It takes only an hour to fly from Bangkok to Suratthani and is much less stressful than the marathon train journey or bus ride.
